Hospitality POS EMV Certification: Aldelo for Restaurants

By nick Technology

EMV Deadline:
As of October 1st 2015, the charge back liability has been partially shifted from the card issuing banks to the party with less secure credit card accepting technology (EMV compliance). In case of restaurant applications with tip adjustment, EMV acceptance is not mandatory with respect to VISA, Master Card, Discover or American Express. Additionally, payment providers, utilized by Modus POS, provide charge back relief for hospitality merchants with a lot of fraudulent transactions while EMV liability shift is taking place.

EMV Restaurant Solution:
At this moment, our full service restaurant solution, Aldelo POS for Restaurants and Aldelo LITE, have an ability to accept EMV chip cards using Aldelo EDC with PAX S300 Pin Pads. Please find the list of supported processors below.
